Reading About Dogs Makes It All Better

scrappybadger September 5th, 2007

I just finished Ken Foster’s The Dogs Who Found Me. Read my review if you’d like.

I don’t remember if I mentioned it in a previous post, but his interview with Terri Gross made me run out and buy the book the very same day which is pretty much unheard of for me.

I may well go and find out about this book. I’m planning a change of career at the moment and I’m studying to become a dog behaviourist, so I’m reading all sorts of doggy psychology books at the moment.

Matron, I can’t say enough about this book. I really enjoyed it. You might do as I did and listen first to Ken Foster’s NPR interview. You’ll find it here:

Chances are you will really want to read it after that. :) Tell me, what does a dog behaviourist dog? It sounds like positive behavior modification or something… like what some people call training? I often wonder what it would be like to work with dogs all day… very nice I’d imagine.

Hey, there’s more Brando, Zephyr, and Sula in my new book, DOGS I HAVE MET!
